We never sell or pass on any of your details and TRI UK in maintains a strict privacy policy in accordance with the “Data Protection Act 1998”.

TRI UK is a registered trademark and may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not TRI UK, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits TRI UK. All other trademarks not owned by TRI UK that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by TRI UK.

Your Membership Account

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Product Descriptions

TRI UK attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, TRI UK does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by TRI UK itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
We try and ensure that all prices, details and descriptions on the website are accurate however, errors or incorrect information may occur. If we identify any errors in price, details or descriptions of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you decide to cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
The website may contain typing mistakes or other errors or mistakes and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, mistakes or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfill any orders that you may place based on information on the website that may contain errors or mistakes, including, without limitation, errors, mistakes or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.

By visiting TRI UK, you agree that the laws that govern Great Britain, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and TRI UK.

Payments

Payment on our website is taken through our secure payment pages using PayPal merchant services. Payment can also be taken via a PayPal account where you will be redirected to PayPal’s secure pages to process your payment.

Prices are quoted in (£) sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT).
If your delivery address is outside the UK you may be liable for relevant import duties and/or taxes when your order reaches your country. It is recommended that you consult the relevant authorities in the country of your delivery address for further details.

Security

TRI UK take your online security very seriously and have implemented secure servers where your information is sent encrypted via industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This makes it almost impossible for any third party to read any information you send us.
Shipping

When the package is delivered please check the packing over carefully for any damage and if there is any visible damage to the page please sign for item with the delivery driver as DAMAGED.

If it is damaged, you will then need to call us immediately with the details of the damage. If there is no damage, then please sign for the package as UNCHECKED.

It is your responsibility to make sure that you sign for the parcel appropriately. If your parcel arrives damaged and it is not signed for as damaged, we will be unable to pursue a claim if required. For more information on shipping: (See Shipping)

Availability and estimated delivery times

We do our best to ensure that all of the products on TRIUK.com are available from stock. We also endeavor to make sure that all products are dispatched within the quoted time; however we cannot guarantee this. If for any reason there is a delay with your order will contact you as soon as we can.

All goods are offered subject to availability.

Items listed on our website are purely an invitation to order. They do not constitute that the item is in stock. We do not and cannot guarantee that every item on our website is available at time of ordering. If an item is ordered and we do not have stock then we will try to contact you to see if you would like to wait while we obtain more stock, an alternative item or refund, provided a correct email address and telephone number is provided. We reserve the right to withdraw any item without notice. Postage prices are also subject to change.

Gift Vouchers

Our vouchers can only be redeemed in store, over the phone or by email (to [email protected]). If you have received a voucher in a code format then please use that code when shopping with TRI UK. The code will only be able to be used once. If you using a printed format voucher these can be used either in store or for mail order purchases. All printed format vouchers must be produced at the time of purchase in store. If using such a voucher for a mail order purchase, the vouchers must be posted to TRI UK, with a list of the items you want to use the voucher against in order to redeem it. Please also include your own delivery address, name and contact phone number.

Promotional Vouchers

Promotional vouchers and online discount codes have a validity of 30days from the offer being released unless otherwise specified. TRI UK reserves the right to cancel or amend any offer and terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Price Matching

TRI UK endeavours to offer customers the best possible prices at all times. TRI UK is happy to Price Match other prices that customers have seen in the market place. Please note that in order for us to Price Match the competitor’s item needs to be the exact same item (year, model, spec, colour, size etc), must be available and in stock with the other competitor, and must be from a UK -based competitor so there are no currency/import tax or shipping differences. TRI UK cannot guarantee to Price Match all items, but will always do their best to offer the best prices at all times.

Your Rights as a Consumer

In accordance with UK Distance Selling Regulations, consumers who have purchased via our website or mail order phone lines have a 14-day period in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund (This excludes custom products, special-order products & any hire products). Consumers do not need to give a reason for cancelling their purchase. We are obliged to refund payments to consumers in full within 14 days after receiving confirmation of your cancellation. Please note that this does not apply to purchases made in-store as they are covered by the Consumer Rights Act.
How to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods

TRI UK must receive a cancellation notice in writing within this 14-day period. We recommend that you use the email address [email protected]
Once the return has been accepted from TRI UK, you must return the product within 14 days of the cancellation.

Please note the following are excluded from the 14-day cooling off period: custom orders, special-order products, magazines, perishable goods, hygiene goods, & hire products.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure sure that the product is returned in its original condition, ensuring the goods remain in re-saleable condition – including returning the goods in their original packaging, with all manuals and all accessories,and with a valid proof of purchase.

TRI UK has the right to deduct an amount from the reimbursement (or charge a consumer) if the consumer has diminished the value of the goods by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function. This is based on whether a consumer has handled the goods in a way beyond what is reasonably allowed in a shop.

Cancellation of a Hire Reservation & Hired but not used goods

Cancellation of a Hire Reservation – We can accept a reservation cancellation prior to the dispatch of the hire goods.
Once hire goods have been dispatched it is not possible to cancel the hire agreement. Full hire fees will be charged whether the item is used or not by the customer.

Important Returns Information

We do our best to ensure all of our customers enjoy a happy shopping experience with TRIUK.com however occasionally you may need to return an item.

In store purchases: Please return your purchases to the store you purchased from. Please bring along your proof of purchase. Please note that in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act only faulty goods can be returned for an exchange or refund.

Online purchases: To return an item(s) firstly print the Returns Form, complete it and return it with a copy of your invoice and goods to Customer Returns, TRI UK, 76 Lyde Road, Yeovil, Somerset, BA21 5DW.

We would recommend that you return your items via a suitable trackable and insured postal service. Please clearly state on the invoice the reason for return and whether you require a refund or exchange.

TRI UK will NOT contact you when we receive the return. Please refer to your tracking number to obtain confirmation that your return has arrives at TRI UK.

Personalised items are non-returnable. Some goods are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. If your items were a special order (ordered in specially from the supplier) there may be a 15% deduction from the refund. We will try to notify you before the refund is processed, but this is not always possible. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.

If a full refund including the original delivery costs is required, we need to be informed fourteen (14) days after the receipt of the order. The order must be then returned to us within fourteen (14) days after we have been informed of the cancellation, however you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. If a return is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the original order back to us.

The returned goods must be in their original packaging and in a sellable condition. Return postage is at your own cost and risk.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all goods that are returned.

Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty goods purchased in-store: Please return your purchases to the stores you purchased from. Please bring along your proof of purchase.

Faulty goods purchased on-line: If you return goods claiming they are defective, the returned goods will be examined by TRI UK warranty staff and/or the manufacturer warranty staff. Based on the inspections carried out TRI UK will notify you of the warranty decision by phone or email. If it has been deemed to be a warranty then a replacement item or a refund can be discussed. If a refund is due you will receive your refund within thirty (30) days of the day we confirm to you that you are entitled to a refund for defective goods.

If a refund or reimbursement is payable to you, we will transfer the money using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. If we cannot refund via the original payment then a cheque will be raised to the address on the order (except in the case of a full or part purchase of goods using a Gift Card, as detailed below).

If any product purchased with a Gift Card is subsequently exchanged for a product of a lower price, any money owing will only be issued as a Gift Card. If your purchase was partially paid for on Gift Card and a refund is payable to you, your Gift Card will be refunded up to the card’s original value, any outstanding balance owed after this will be refunded via the other payment method originally used for your purchase. If you no longer have the Gift Card used to purchase the returned good(s), we will issue you with a new Gift Card to the value payable to you up to the amount of the card’s original value.
