Description
Meet the ultimate race hardtail. For those with Serious issues.
When the original F-Si hit back in 2015, it changed the game. Pushed the limits. Changed peoples’ idea of what an XC hardtail could do. Well, surprise, surprise…the new F-Si is even F-Si-ier. It’s even lighter – the lightest MTB frame we’ve ever made. Shorter Ai™ chainstays for more traction and kick on the climbs. Slacker head angle for even more OutFront™ control when things get dicey on descents. Improved stack and reach numbers for amore optimized rider position. Precise compliance tuning throughout the frame for more comfort, seated or standing, all while still having power transfer you need for full-gas efforts. And of course, leading things off, the stunning new Lefty Ocho. It’s a whole new level of XC capability, tailor made to feed the needs of the XC obsessed.
Lefty Ocho OutFront.
The all-new Lefty Ocho rewrites the book on XC performance. The smoothest, stiffest ultra-light XC fork ever made, it floats through chop and steers through the choss like nothing else. Silky smooth and unfazed no matter how hard you push it. Happy to get in as deep as you dare. Its extra-long fork offset pairs up with the F-Si’s new, slacker 69° head angle to create OutFront geometry, giving you extra stability to charge the downs, with full XC agility on the ups. Helping the F-Si track perfectly through whatever you throw it into.
Ai party in the back.
Short chainstays do wonders for traction and nimble handling, but they usually come at a cost. Ya gotta give something to get something. Not so with Ai. Ai is our proprietary Asymmetric Integration drivetrain offset. By moving the gears and rear triangle over 6mm, we double the amount of space that boost provides. This enables us to shorten the stays AND still have clearance for big tires and room for 2x drivetrains if you want. It even creates a stiffer, stronger rear wheel by evening out the dish. Smart, right?
